The David Lynch Foundation, recently announced it would offer one thousand scholarships for students in Hawaii to learn the Transcendental Meditation Program. These scholarships are offered as part of a middle and high school Quiet Time program.

The scholarships will cover the full instruction cost for a student to learn the Transcendental Meditation program. As well as covering initial Transcendental Meditation instruction costs the David Lynch Foundation bears all the costs of the follow-up program, which includes faculty and staff training in the proper supervision of the Quiet Time period.

The David Lynch Foundation may also provide support and/or partner with researchers to study and verify the effects of the TM Quiet Time program on academic performance, health and behavior.
